Bistrôt Chapeau
French · Bib
€€
Bistrôt Chapeau exudes French elegance: white tablecloths, warm tones, typical chansons playing in the background and a terrace where you can relax. Chef Nicky Quarz cooks here with classic precision and a penchant for dishes that are too often forgotten. No frills and full of flavour. Think homemade wild boar pâté with lively garnishes that provide a nice counterbalance, or juicy guinea fowl stuffed with tartufata and served with soft pommes fondantes and a creamy mushroom sauce, among other things. This cuisine remains true to its roots. And more good news: the full menu is also available fo

Spandershoeve
Indonesian · Bib
€€
Spandershoeve has been showcasing traditional Indonesian cuisine since 1972. Anita Boerenkamp was the first chef in the Netherlands to put a sophisticated spin on the famous rijsttafel. Her confident take on the fiery and intricate blend of spices was remarkable. The kitchen team honours her legacy. They know, for example, how to roast goat until it is succulent, how to employ soy sauce to powerful effect, and how to add texture with raw and fried onions. This welcoming neighbourhood restaurant is the perfect introduction to Indonesian generosity and hospitality.

De Nederlanden
Modern Cuisine, French · ★ Michelin
€€€€
De Nederlanden bears its name well. The decor, the charming service and the culinary style lend this former country hotel a quintessentially Dutch atmosphere. Combining historical charm with contemporary sleekness, this building has plenty of character. It feels like time is standing still as you enjoy an aperitif on a bench with views over the Vecht River and the drawbridge. Pure bliss! It is clear from the menu that chef Wilco Berends loves his terroir: When it comes to produce such as lamb, eel and cheese, rest assured that he will serve you the very best the region has to offer. Chef aan de Werf

€€
Charly de Wijs welcomes his guests in a former factory warehouse that has been converted into a lively bistro with industrial charm. The atmosphere is informal, and the interior is robust and warmly decorated with vintage details. The à la carte menu features dishes in intermediate portions that you can share as you wish. The scallop ceviche with citrus-marinated beetroot, bisque cream and chilli, for example, surprises with its freshness and depth. And how about a creamy espresso parfait with a coffee espuma in which caramel provides sweet power? This story is international and versatile, wit

SEAson - Arsenaal
Seafood, Seasonal Cuisine
€€
Originally erected in 1688 as a military barracks, this building was converted many years later by renowned interior designer Jan des Bouverie. Today, the place is chic and inviting, and the terrace is a real draw on sunny days. Dennis Koopmans specialises in seafood, but does cater to meat eaters as well. If you're looking for a plateau de fruits de mer or the freshest of seasonal fish, it doesn't get much better than this. Think pan-fried red mullet and a rich shellfish bisque, with finely chopped fennel providing a hint of zesty flavour, complemented by salty samphire and crispy croutons. A

This revamped farmhouse is the place to come for a lively dining experience in a vibrant and trendy setting. Upbeat music plays in the background, large chandeliers hang from the ceiling, modern art adorns the walls… This restaurant is brimming with atmosphere, yet also has a romantic side thanks to the subdued lighting and dark colour scheme. Working in an attractive open kitchen, André Gerrits's vibrant creativity befits the setting. His cuisine has verve and knows no boundaries.
