Madonnina del Pescatore

Creative, Contemporary · ★★ Michelin

€€€€

It’s now forty years since the Madonnina opened in 1984, yet chef Moreno Cedroni has not lost the creative touch that has resulted in him becoming one of the most influential chefs of his generation. Year after year, eating at La Madonnina remains a novelty: the menu succeeds like no other in reflecting past traditions and future culinary trends, especially in its fish and seafood dishes, and new dishes are added regularly, often having been researched in the laboratory next to the restaurant using specialised food technology. There are two tasting menus available: “Ricordi d'infanzia & Mariel

Uliassi

Creative, Seafood · ★★★ Michelin

€€€€

From being the perfect star of summer holiday postcards, the Adriatic Riviera becomes a painting or, if you prefer, an artistic film, thanks to Mauro Uliassi's captivating interpretation. The restaurant seems to be almost hidden and camouflaged among the beach establishments that crowd the coast of Senigallia: one would never expect to find a 3-Michelin-starred restaurant tucked away between beach umbrellas and the waves that lap the shore. The strength and originality of this cuisine lies precisely in its consistency in offering only the very best, starting with locally-sourced ingredients, w

Osteria Forno Ercole

Cuisine from the Marches

€€

Hidden among the alleyways of Jesi, Osteria Forno Ercole is a former bakery (part of which can still be seen) which serves authentic cuisine in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Local recipes and Mediterranean flavours come together on the traditional menu, with a focus on seasonal ingredients of the highest quality. Tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, Marche-style fritto misto and steak with carrots, potatoes and radicchio are just some of the dishes on the menu here.

Cuoco di Bordo

Seafood, Classic Cuisine

€€

An attractively furnished restaurant on the seafront with a small dining room and a veranda offering partial views of the sea. Fish takes pride of place on the menu, which focuses on raw fish dishes and classic recipes. The wine list is excellent, especially the whites (although the reds also include some impressive options) with many different vintages of the same wine available.
