This White Pond is a small, protected expanse of water inhabited by birds that can be leisurely observed from the terrace or the dining room; in fact, bird watching sometimes seems to be one of the guests’ main occupations. A keen surfer, David Sulpice’s inspired, high-precision cuisine resembles a cruise through the best of Landes produce, which he consummately showcases: duck and asparagus from Darrigade farm, fish from small boats direct from Capbreton, authentic Pyrenean ewe’s milk cheese, citrus fruit from Thierry Dupouy in Eugénie-les-Bains. Meticulous cooking and flavoursome jus and zab

You may well miss this former sheepfold tucked away in verdant greenery with its exposed timberwork on the beach road. It is however well worth keeping your eyes open! Chef Yannick Duc treats diners to spontaneous, vibrant recipes that are tailored to modern tastebuds, displaying a strong predilection for first-class seasonal produce, in particular the catch of the day. The chef also enjoys mixing seasonings, spices and peppers, jazzing up his carpaccio of Banka trout with horseradish and black lemon cream and wasabi ice cream or pairing ravioles of lobster with green curry, bisque of fish hea

This local institution boasting an idyllic location on the shore of Lake Hossegor extends a charming welcome to its guests. Chef Philippe Moreno, a protégé of Gérald Passedat, serves carefully prepared, high-quality cuisine, with well-executed dishes organised into a seasonal menu and a tasting menu. Fish from Capbreton's fish market and excellent poultry from the Landes area take pride of place. Enjoy your meal in the bright bistro interior, or on the pleasant terrace, in a chic, laid-back atmosphere.

This beach front restaurant sports a fashionably stark interior: polished concrete, a light colour scheme, a live lobster tank and an ocean view… The modern cuisine is presented in a brief, well-crafted menu. Special lobster menu. Attentive welcome and service.

On the lookout for a friendly restaurant delivering good food with a rich variety of flavours? Sit back in the relaxed atmosphere and enjoy the mezze menus – a host of local dishes served in small portions for sharing. The house specialty, they feature Capbreton fish and vegetables from the Bastelica family market gardeners. Highlights include the excellent cuttlefish and foie gras pâté en croûte, the fried blue whiting ravioli with pil pil sauce and the crispy bonito roll with Asian spinach and courgette purée.

Whether seated on the terrace or inside, you are promised an enticing culinary interlude at this really inviting compact restaurant on Capbreton harbour. Generous and colourful dishes enhanced by citrus fruit and spices get to the heart of the matter, showcasing the local catch, lamb from the Pyrenees and vegetables from a market gardener in nearby Tosse. Don't miss the chocolate tart – a proper showstopper!

In the centre of this town, “la cuisine” is well and truly honoured in this excellent eatery. Chef Johann Dubernet, assisted in the dining room by cheerful Isabelle, his partner, signs colourful, fragrant and beautifully presented dishes whose influences are manifold: tempura of frog’s legs in curry and saté sauce; John Dory in a green tomato and shiso leaf chutney; brownie with pineapple poached in combava and a spicy sorbet. Subtle, suave, spot-on cooking!

In a small seaside resort in Les Landes, this eatery hits all the right buttons. The snug, smart family-run bistro, which is invariably fully booked, has been taken over by an endearing couple with bags of enthusiasm. Maud’s concise, regularly renewed menu smacks of seasonal, market-fresh inspiration, illustrated by gazpacho of veggies and a creamy burrata or strawberry tartlet flanked by a velvety lemon and basil cream. Yann welcomes guests cheerfully and simply.
