The Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong, towers above the Pacific Place shopping complex between Central and Wanchai, offering stunning harbor views. Located 24 miles east of Hong Kong International Airport (HKG), the hotel is accessible by airport train, taxi, or limousine. Please note that three guestroom floors are currently being upgraded, with work occurring periodically between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM and 2:30 PM and 6:00 PM, Monday to Saturday. Every effort is made to minimize disruption. The hotel sits atop Pacific Place, a prestigious shopping and entertainment complex with over 200 retail outlets and direct subway access, providing quick and easy access to Hong Kong's attractions. The Hong Kong Park, Peak Tram terminal, Star Ferry, Lan Kwai Fong, and SoHo are within walking distance. The hotel features 531 spacious rooms and 34 suites, many with spectacular views of Victoria Harbour or the Peak. Guestrooms are among the largest on Hong Kong Island, with standard rooms measuring 44 square meters. Amenities include high-speed internet access, international voltage sockets, LCD TVs in both the room and bathroom, IDD phones, minibars, and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. The hotel also offers eight restaurants, a 24-hour health club with a sauna, outdoor whirlpool, steam room, and pool, a business center, and extensive meeting facilities.
