Teruar Urla

Mediterranean Cuisine, French Contemporary · ★ Michelin

Dining at Teruar Urla gives rise to a sense of natural serenity – and that goes for both the drive along the vineyards and the atmosphere of this luxurious restaurant housed in a building of local stone. On one side, you can see the kitchen team at work; the aperitif room and terrace offer stunning views of the valley below. An overnight stay in one of the guestrooms is a must, but first, take the time to savour Osman Serdaroğlu's intense cuisine. He is a chef who believes that less is more. His minimalist approach to local cooking is infused with Italian flair, a result of his previous work e

Ozan and Seray Kumbasar make a formidable team who put their heart and soul into their restaurant. Seray wins hearts with her love for regional wines, presenting them with expertise and surprising us, for instance, with a Chamlija Riesling, 2024, from Baglari. Her digestif trolley is nothing short of outstanding. Her love of the local terroir is shared by her chef husband, and he sources whatever he does not grow himself from nearby producers whenever possible. Every six weeks his set menu changes to keep pace with the seasons. This also fuels his creativity and shapes the direction of his sen

Atilla Heilbronn serves up a distinctive take on Turkish cuisine. Having grown up in Germany and worked at several top-flight establishments, he has now set up shop at this stylish boutique hotel. The glass-paned restaurant can only accommodate a handful of tables, which makes for an intimate atmosphere. Hostess Buse adds to the vibe with her attentive service. Chef Heilbronn's meticulously crafted dishes are visually stunning and showcase the finest local ingredients. His German training is evident in the exceptional bread he bakes, including a dark sourdough and a pretzel-style baguette. His

The terrace of this inviting restaurant is the best place to experience the charm of the Hus wine estate to the full. The sight of the vines and olive trees immediately has a calming effect. Be sure to sample the wines produced on site – your charming service team is on hand to offer expert guidance. These wines pair perfectly with the food, which is a contemporary take on Mediterranean cuisine prepared to order. Having started with the addictive house-made focaccia, for example, you could move on to the perfectly cooked medium-rare lamb saddle seasoned with rosemary, accompanied by a robust l

Hostess Aslıhan's friendly smile and warm welcome will make you feel right at home in this quintessentially Anatolian stone house. The restaurant's historical charm is complemented by the Mediterranean feel of the courtyard terrace. The extensive menu primarily features hot and cold appetisers with a traditional Turkish twist. Think fish soup with freshly caught sea bream, prawns and squid. Or perhaps a succulent kokoreç served with hummus, and a velvety fava bean purée seasoned with lemon and dill… These dishes brimming with flavour are perfect for sharing with friends in a casual setting.

There is a rustic charm about this place that is reflected in the food. At the counter, there is an impressive selection of mezze and hot dishes that you can also order straight away. Market-fresh Turkish cuisine is prepared with great passion and respect for tradition. Take, for example, the green beans cooked in a tomato sauce with onion and smoked aubergine, served with well-seasoned yoghurt, or the lamb stew with a light stock made from tomato, garlic and pepper, enhanced with cumin and coriander. At Beğendik Abi you are guaranteed a delicious and affordable dining experience. The queue th

Whether you're soaking up the sun on the verdant terrace or cosying up by the fireplace, Gula Urla is inviting all year round. The fresh fish on display makes it clear that the sea is the restaurant's main supplier; vegetables and cheese are also sourced locally. After a delicious cocktail or glass of local wine, tuck into shrimp salad with mango and avocado, or perhaps a tandoori-style squid dish, before finishing off with a creamy katmer with red berries. The extensive menu is a seafood lover's dream come true (plus, there is a separate set menu featuring meat from the wood-fire oven).

Dining with a view of the vineyards, or on the terrace surrounded by the grapevines, is an experience that will leave a lasting impression. Levan offers a convivial atmosphere in a charming and intimate setting. On the chalkboard, you will find a dozen dishes, from mezze to share to main courses to savour on your own. The traditional cuisine of the Aegean coast is given a contemporary twist: Examples include sea bass marinated in lemon before cooking and served with a crisp salad, or house-made ravioli stuffed with various cheeses and accompanied by a Parmesan and cream sauce.
