The trip to the Hegar family's restaurant just outside Bonndorf is definitely worth it! Nestled in a quiet valley, surrounded by woods and meadows, the setting could not be more idyllic. There's an inviting terrace, but you can also enjoy the view from inside. The cuisine is regional and seasonal, including French and Mediterranean influences. Inside, a cosy ambiance awaits, while outside, the idyllic garden terrace with its shady chestnut tree beckons. The food is outstanding – their wild boar ravioli in sage butter is a house speciality. They make a point of using regional ingredients, some of which they produce themselves: They have their own chickens and eggs, hunt their own game, keep bees, bake their own bread, make juices, liqueurs and spirits… Both
