Located just off the town square and over-looking towering volcanic rocks and the surrounding fairy chimneys in the small town of Ortahisar, this beautiful boutique hotel is built from ancient caves and stone houses renowned throughout the spectacular region of Cappadocia. The interior retains original fireplaces, alcoves and even a buried wine press and fermentation vat. Every room is unique with some featuring frescoes evoking Cappadocia's heritage. An on-site spa provides the perfect place in which to relax and enjoy a treatment after a day exploring the many attractions in the area while the property's restaurant boasts local specialities baked in a stone oven which can be enjoyed on a large terrace over-looking Mt. Erciyes. If looking to ‘tie the knot', this beautiful property also has an underground chapel hosting weddings, concerts and workshops.

The name is an abbreviation of ‘tapas tasting’, but rather than Spanish in origin, the small plates show strong Asian roots. The tasting menu, which changes every 3 to 4 months, offers great value; the eclectic wine list carries some interesting choices.
