Nub

Nub is part of the splendid Bahía del Duque resort, which has expanded its culinary options with this restaurant offering creative cuisine of the highest order. Andrea Bernardi (from Italy) and Fernanda Fuentes Cárdenas (from Chile) remain loyal to its style, building a culinary bridge between Mediterranean Europe and Latin America with a nod to the Canary Islands and sustainability. Their tasting menus, Waywen (vegetarian) and Novatore (the name of which is a homage to Andrea’s grandfather), involve a journey through the restaurant’s three dining spaces: appetisers on the terrace (Estratos);

Donaire

This charming restaurant, the fine-dining option in the Hotel GF Victoria, stands out for its setting in a completely glass-fronted, semi-circular room with pleasant views of the Costa Adeje coastline and the Atlantic. The chef at the helm, Jesús Camacho, developed his culinary foundations in the world of pastry, a factor that is undeniably evident in his dishes which are all created and designed with painstaking care and precision. The à la carte, which is well supported by two tasting menus (Donaire and Victoria), showcases a creative, contemporary flair with strong Canary Island and French

Haydée by Víctor Suárez

The term ‘Haydée’, which could be translated as respecting, cherishing or pampering, embodies both chef Víctor Suárez's passion for the island flavours specific to La Gomera and a subtle tribute to his grandmother, the woman who first instilled in him a love of cooking. The restaurant is located inside the Casa Fuerte building, the most striking part of the Hotel Gran Tacande, inspired by the ancient fortress that allowed for safe disembarkation. After crossing the modern courtyard, where the culinary concept of the experience is explained, you enter the first floor, a pleasant and open room i

(Temporarily closed for renovations). The elaborate cooking of the Padrón brothers (Juan Carlos and Jonathan) highlighted on their own menu will definitely find favour with guests – especially given the fact that they are the sons of chefs and nephews of fishermen. Located on the fifth floor of the Royal Hideaway Corales Beach hotel, the restaurant delights guests with its ocean views and its high level of service and cuisine. In keeping with its philosophy and always ably supported by their wives (both of whom fulfil the role of sommelier), the focus here is on traditional Canary Island recip

If you’re looking for an Italian restaurant with a difference, this dining space in the Royal Hideaway Corales Suites hotel won’t disappoint thanks to its superb terrace (which we highly recommend for lunch or dinner in fine weather) and its re-creation of Italian recipes from a relatively modern and progressive perspective, with the added attraction of always using (with the exception of the irreplaceable Pecorino and Parmesan) local ingredients sourced from the island. Chef Niki Pavanelli, who is originally from Bologna and can often be seen passing from table to table to explain his dishes,

Located on the top floor of the Jardines de Nivaria hotel, this restaurant has panoramic views and surprises for its colourful dome, which brings to mind the explosion of a supernova! The à la carte, featuring international and Canary Island cuisine that is brought to life in quite modern dishes (lime stuffed with foie gras and Oloroso sherry, fish from the island with potato foam, umami and spinach, and many more), is supported by two tasting menus: La Cúpula and Gastronómico.

(Currently closed for renovations) If creative cuisine that showcases the island’s culinary history appeals to you, this restaurant located at the luxury Villa Cortés hotel is a must. It is overseen by chef Diego Schattenhofer (an Argentinian chef who has spent the past two decades in the Canary Islands). His cooking is defined by the phrase 'we don’t create recipes, we create emotions' and is showcased across two tasting menus (Roque Guincho and Roque de Arona Hío) on which Canary Island cooking is 100% present in every dish (we particularly liked their seafood rice with scarlet red prawns an

Under that striking term from the volcanic lexicon (Crater), this restaurant, which brings the gourmet offering of the luxurious Royal Hideaway Corales Villas to life, aims to be a showcase for the history, gastronomy and culture of the Canary Islands. The restaurant, located on the first floor of the hotel, features an open kitchen and a pleasant terrace overlooking the golf courses, with the ocean as a backdrop.
