Park in one of the streets near this restaurant and prepare yourself for a delightful journey through Sicily and its culinary traditions! Chef Pino Cuttaia, who is demonstrably in love with his native island, highlights his ingredients in a simple and unfussy way, as demonstrated by the shellfish pasta minestra and the black Nebrodi suckling pig with a tomato-based “sugo della Domenica” (Sunday gravy). The two small dining rooms with a modern and minimalist feel offer an attractive setting for this enjoyable culinary experience, enhanced by the elegant service provided by the experienced Vince

In the heart of Ibla, one of the most evocative historic districts not only of this wonderful island but of Italy itself, chef Ciccio Sultano embodies the very essence of Sicily, also through his latest “citrica” philosophy, about which he will – undoubtedly – tell you once you are seated in his classic, elegant venue just steps from the Duomo di San Giorgio (well worth a visit). You will be welcomed and served with refinement and expertise by a young, passionate team, including a carefully curated wine selection. Drawing on a profound knowledge of his land, the charismatic and friendly chef s

Situated in the historic centre between the Pirandello theatre and the belvedere, this former bakery has been transformed into a modern, welcoming restaurant that has recently been expanded to include an evening cocktail bar (the Buvette del Panificio). The menu features a superb selection of some of the island’s most famous dishes, including stuffed sardines, Robiola goat’s cheese, Palermo-style sword fish and ricotta cassata.

Situated on the ring road which runs around Ibla, one of the most charming and picturesque historic districts in Sicily, this restaurant is as delightful as its surroundings. Despite being partly built into the rock, the dining room here is elegant rather than rustic and the service highly attentive, making this the perfect choice for a romantic, gourmet dinner. Vincenzo Candiano is an extraordinary chef who continues to experiment with new dishes, combining classic favourites with other more innovative recipes (still with a Sicilian influence) on his menu. There’s also a renowned wine list wi

A painting for sea lovers, admired in all its splendor through the dining room’s floor-to-ceiling windows. Behind guests, the open kitchen hosts two chefs – Giuseppe Causarano and Antonio Colombo – who create dishes of surprising quality and creativity, where fresh catch naturally takes center stage. Among the standouts that won us over: smoked spaghetti with butter and anchovies, a dish of exceptional creaminess, aromatics, and intensity. Seemingly simple, it demonstrates excellent technique and is worth the journey alone! On the wine front, let Cettina, the sommelier, be your guide on a jour

This restaurant, named after the ancient Sicilian musical mouth instrument similar to a small flute and used in folk music, is located in the heart of the historic center. It features a spacious outdoor area for the summertime and interior spaces that predominantly use materials such as wood and stone. The cuisine pays homage to traditional local dishes, expertly crafted and "revitalized," using ingredients that mostly come from the Madonie Park where the location is situated. The mushroom specialties are not to be missed, and the wine selection is also excellent.

A simple, almost rustic restaurant in the pedestrianised historic centre of one of the medieval villages that add to the special attraction of the Parco delle Madonie. Here, the owner prepares seasonal cuisine which is firmly anchored in the region, made from ingredients from the surrounding area. The antipasto is always good, and is served as a selection of five or six small bites made from vegetables, cheese and meat, as well as mushrooms. The home-made bread is excellent – the natural leavening process takes almost four days. A good wine selection completes the picture.

Housed in the elegant Relais Villa Flora, this restaurant occupies a natural terrace with breathtaking views of the Nissene hills. The dishes are predominantly regional in style yet reinterpreted with a modern twist. There’s also a good wine selection with a focus on Sicilian and Italian labels.
