Osteria La Solita Zuppa
Tuscan, Traditional Cuisine · Bib
€
In the heart of the historic centre of Chiusi, the authentic spirit of a true Tuscan trattoria pervades the air, between evocative barrel-vaulted ceilings and a cool terrace that invites one to linger. Here a love of regional cooking finds expression in the revival of ancient recipes, presented with the generous richness of flavour that characterises the local tradition. Among the dishes recommended by our Inspector, the fragrant artichoke and mint soup and the refined rabbit with ginger, inspired by an ancient medieval preparation, stand out.

Essenza
Traditional Cuisine, Contemporary
€€
Essenza is housed within the Borghi dell'Eremo resort in a stunning setting surrounded by beautiful and tranquil natural landscapes. The spacious dining room, which is flooded with natural light thanks to the picture windows that look out at the Umbrian hills, provides the backdrop for a culinary experience that focuses on traditional cuisine. Our inspector particularly recommends the exquisite Borghi saffron tagliatelle served with a rabbit ragù (the rabbits are raised on the estate’s own farm).

€€
In the heart of Cetona's square, a well-tended outdoor area among hedges welcomes guests with warmth and smiles. The cuisine is authentically Tuscan and well-crafted. Don’t miss the selection of local cured meats and the classic pici all’aglione, a true must-try!
