Chef Gerald Schöberl and his team successfully weave interesting Japanese influences into French classics, resulting in harmonious marriages of flavours. Skilfully integrated accents create a certain tension, always ultimately striking the perfect balance – a case in point is the excellent hamachi: lightly marinated, it is accompanied by artfully arranged rolls of daikon filled with fresh cress and finished with a refreshing vinaigrette and delicate tobiko caviar. The food is served as a four- to seven-course set menu. In addition to the wine pairings, the house-made alcohol-free beverage pair

This modern extension of the attractive Villa Hügel (1914) has a sleek and elegant feel. The ceiling-to-floor windows afford an impressive view of Trier, and the terrace is a particularly sought-after spot in this regard! Savour fresh, contemporary dishes made from good-quality ingredients and washed down with regional wines. The young team in charge of serving you are charming and professional. Cosy guestrooms and a lovely relaxation suite await overnight guests.

BECKER'S Weinhaus

Creative, Classic Cuisine

The original building, which houses this, the second Becker's restaurant, stands in contrast to the modern new hotel building. The abundance of pale woodwork makes it nice and cosy in this space, which leads into an adjoining vaulted brick cellar. Choose between a three- or four-course set menu and à la carte options. The "business lunch" deal and the "quick lunch" daily special are popular. Pretty terrace.

With Hubert Scheid's cuisine, this place is nothing short of a culinary institution in the region. His signature style comprises pleasantly straightforward dishes made from excellent ingredients – served à la carte or as a set menu. The restaurant occupies stylish, high-ceilinged rooms that channel the stately flair of these premises dating back to 1783 – once a summer residence. Or you can dine on the wonderful terrace with a view of the surrounding nature and the Moselle. It's also worth taking a look at the wine list, which features many a big name.
