Guests consistently praise the prime location near transport hubs and the Camino route, the spotless modern apartments, and the host’s prompt, accommodating communication. Complimentary laundry, comfortable bedding, and well-stocked kitchens are frequent highlights. Minor drawbacks include bathroom maintenance gaps, unclear appliance instructions, occasional ants, and possible laundry queues at peak times.

Eirado

Contemporary · ★ Michelin

If you’re looking for a restaurant that exudes the true spirit of Pontevedra, then look no further, as Eirado occupies one of the most charming properties in the town’s old quarter. Its compact dining rooms are imbued with the warmth and beauty that come with the bare stone walls that typify the character of this particular restaurant. Chef Iñaki Bretal creates modern cooking with clearly evident Galician and maritime roots (he buys his fish and seafood daily from the auction in Ribeira), demonstrating high levels of technique and not being afraid to incorporate touches of fusion, taking flavo

Pepe Solla almost grew up in the kitchen and has hospitality coursing through his veins, hence the beginning of a life in which "he began to be part of the restaurant’s history and vice-versa”. The chef, whose love for cooking came from his father (who was awarded a Michelin star at Casa Solla in 1980), has brought the restaurant more up to date, running the family business to the highest standard while continuing to evolve, in particular thanks to his obsession with flavour, and a focus on creative cooking inspired by the culinary traditions of Galicia. Through the name of this restaurant, located along an attractive, narrow pedestrian street in the old quarter of town, the aim is to pay homage to a traditional form of fishing that, through the generations, has been fundamental to the livelihood of owner-chef Antonio Novas’ family. It boasts a bar at the entrance that is reminiscent of an old Galician tavern, a welcoming stone-walled dining room on the first floor, plus a private space for small events above it. Here, the cuisine is centred around top-quality ingredients and touches of contemporary and international influence, including daily

Pepe Vieira

It is a miracle to find a restaurant of this standard in the middle of the countryside, but Pepe Vieira bucks this trend! In this spectacular restaurant surrounded by woods, gardens and pleasant terraces, chef Xosé T. Cannas takes a bold approach to everything, exploring new recipes and ingredients from elsewhere which he combines with superb local ingredients (particularly from the sea) on tasting menus (Romasanta, O Señor de Andrade and A Santa Elección) that take guests on a journey back to the roots of Galician cuisine which is described here as the “la última cociña do mundo”! This restaurant, the name of which is a partial reference to a song by singer Luis Eduardo Aute, is proud of its personality and ability to do things differently as it views cooking as a key element of its identity. It works with ingredients of exceptional quality with meticulous attention paid to cooking methods and flavours, which are enhanced with just a light added touch provided by the grill. The à la carte, featuring top-notch cuts of meat priced by weight, is complemented by two tasting menus (Singularidad and Materia). The restaurant has received an architectural award for its beautifu

As soon as you walk through the door of Veiramar Arcade, the display cabinet gives you a clear idea of the quality of fish here, while the live tank attests to the freshness of its seafood (langoustines, lobster etc). The simply constructed dishes featuring on the menu are based around top-notch ingredients and a strong focus on the sea, although high-quality meat and rice dishes are also available. The dining room is completely surrounded by glass, hence the stunning views of the mouth of the Verdugo river.
