This restaurant enjoys a stunning location up above the town. The interior has a pleasing design and there is an attractive conservatory with a pretty terrace outside offering impressive views. The cuisine is based on good, fresh produce with appetising dishes such as Skrei cod on leaf spinach in beurre blanc.

Served à la carte or as a set menu, classic cuisine made with seasonal produce is the order of the day here. The upscale interior is very comfortable, with harmonious, lovingly arranged decorative objects – it certainly does full justice to the luxurious setting of the traditional holiday hotel of the same name in which this restaurant is housed. This establishment has been a familiar and beloved landmark for decades. Part of the long-established Hotel Alte Post, the restaurant serves seasonal cuisine made with regionally sourced ingredients, with dishes such as calf's head, risotto and chard, or Black Forest salmon trout and crayfish lasagne with spring vegetables, citrus-infused beurre blanc and verbena shellfish emulsion, available either as a set menu or à la carte.
