't Ganzenest
Modern French · ★ Michelin

't Ganzenest will forever be associated with Harry Visbeen, who held a MICHELIN star for many years. Today, Erik Tas is writing a new chapter of this beautiful story. He has cultivated the authentic allure of the building and revamped the restaurant with just the right dose of elegance. A glance at the menu reveals that chef Tas is a fan and connoisseur of top-quality produce such as turbot, veal sweetbreads and wagyu. He enhances these ingredients with the perfect garnishes and expertly done sauces with great depth of flavour. Take, for example, the wonderful cream sauce with chanterelles and

The stately national monument that houses Central Park is quite a sight to behold. This magnificent palace with breathtaking views of the surrounding grounds is the perfect setting in which to enjoy sophisticated fine dining. Luxury is the name of the game here, but there's nothing stuffy about this place. The service staff are attentive, and the selection of wines and champagnes is really impressive. An overnight stay at the hotel is the perfect way to round off your experience. But first, take the chance to savour a finely crafted take on classic, coherent dishes. Traditional cooking techniq

With a delightful waterside terrace for sunny days and a cosy interior with a Scandinavian and vintage feel for when the weather is cooler, this inviting neighbourhood restaurant has plenty going for it. But, of course, the focal point is the kitchen, where chef Daan van Munster creates honest market-fresh cuisine. Whether you prefer to share with your dining companions or go solo, you can compile your own set menu from a tempting list of options, including some rather unconventional dishes. Think creamy veal neck and foie gras terrine, or tender veal tongue with coco de Paimpol beans and a ro

A glass of crisp rosé with a fine selection of cured meats in the wine bar or on the canal-side terrace, a few small plates to share, or a complete meal in the restaurant, with its floral, slightly tropical-looking decor… You have plenty of options here. The tempting menu includes an intensely flavoursome ceviche, a vegetarian dish based on dry-aged beetroot, and a rich tarte Tatin. The chefs are just as happy to play with exotic seasonings as they are to turn out distinctly Dutch dishes. In short: delicious, inspired and generous!

Calla, both a Mexican flower and the Greek word for "beauty", perfectly captures the serene feel of this elegant restaurant. In both the champagne lounge and the dining room, the decor is stylish, with decorative flowers adding a touch of warmth. Ronald van Roon puts great emphasis on vegetables in his dishes, picking up a fresh supply from Laantje Voorham vegetable garden every day. The meticulous chef likes to combine his harvest with other top-notch ingredients that he prepares as simply as possible to let their natural flavours shine through. With its trendy, lively atmosphere, colourful decor and pretty terrace at the front, this popular spot guarantees a wonderfully convivial experience. Whether you opt for the daily-changing set menu, order à la carte or customise your own meal, you can expect Mediterranean freshness, Asian flair, standout vegetable accompaniments and bold flavours. The chef brings excitement to every dish with judicious pairings: plump mussels in a powerfully aromatic green curry, followed by beautifully crusted Ibérico pork, mustard-spiced house pickles, a vibrant peach garnish and a delicate jus finished with

The yellow façade already hints at a Mediterranean vibe. Inside, the atmosphere is lively and informal, with closely set tables – a perfect space in which to share delicious food. Start, for example, with Spanish tapas such as boquerones, Ibérico ham or pimientos de Padrón, before moving on to Mediterranean dishes that pair fish and meat in unexpected ways – for example, tender pork belly topped with a thin slice of raw sea bass and leek oil. The tasting journey highlights freshness, simplicity and nuanced fermentation.
