Guest scores & sentiment

From 119 guest reviews · multi-source · as of 2026-07-19

Guests consistently praise the enthusiastic staff, dynamic animation team, and lush, pool-adjacent environment. Rooms are generally spacious, clean, and well-equipped. Key drawbacks include outdated interiors, persistent damp odors, lack of air conditioning causing summer heat, and basic or repetitive buffet options. Overall, the stay is pleasant but hindered by aging facilities and inconsistent dining quality.

DUOO Gastro Theatre

Fusion

€€€

This small restaurant is run by a Portuguese-Brazilian chef couple, Leandro Silva and Catarina Monteiro (she is usually more present in the dining room), who show genuine passion for the kitchen and an unconditional commitment to the project. Together they have created a fusion proposal which, rooted in both their professional paths and life experiences, combines influences from Portugal, Spain and all of Latin America, while always taking Portuguese produce as its base. The name says it all: “DUOO” in reference to themselves, and “Gastro Theatre” as an ode to presentation, since diners sit at

Restaurante F

International

€€

Restaurante F is the ideal place for those seeking good food in a relaxed atmosphere with stunning views. Away from the typical seaside eateries, this welcoming spot features a glassed-in terrace that looks out over the iconic Praia da Rocha — perfect for watching the sunset. The menu is inspired by authentic Portuguese cooking, with international influences, where the key feature is the quality of ingredients sourced from local producers. All the dishes are prepared with skill, and the selection features meat, fish, fresh seafood... but be sure not to miss the octopus cataplana with sweet pot
