kochZIMMER in der Gaststätte zur Ratswaage

Modern Cuisine, Farm to table · ★ Michelin

€€€€

Located right in the centre, on Neuer Markt, the 18C Ratswaage oozes style! On the outside you have the historical façade; inside, a minimalist interior with chic details such as silvery walls, 1950s-style chandeliers and burnt-orange designer chairs. The Frankenhäuser family and their team have dubbed their culinary style "new Prussian cuisine". Head chef Nico Werner, previously sous-chef, presides in the kitchen, cooking up two five-course set menus (with the option of an "upgrade" in the form of additional dishes); the vegetarian version of the set menu should be ordered at the time of book

Classic French

Are you looking for a slice of the French way of life in the middle of Potsdam? In the Holländisches Viertel (Dutch Quarter), you will find this beautifully designed restaurant, which is housed in a charming 17C half-timbered house. The dining space comprises three different levels, where you can enjoy ambitious classic cuisine accompanied by just the right wine, as a discreet soundtrack plays in the background. In addition to the menu, you can also choose a few dishes à la carte. If the weather is nice, would you like an aperitif at one of the small tables on the pavement before your meal?

Alte Überfahrt

Modern Cuisine, Seasonal Cuisine · ★ Michelin

€€€€

This place boasts a delightful setting on the waterside promenade of a small island in the Havel and the restaurant itself is equally attractive with its upscale, modern and elegant interior and almost intimate atmosphere, beautiful terrace by the lake. Then there is the creative cuisine made of regional and seasonal products. It is best to order a vegetarian menu when making your reservation. The dishes are characterised by their precise technical skill, clear structure and beautiful sense of balance – it is plain to see that head chef Thomas Hübner has already plied his trade in some of Germ
