This restaurant is an intimate and deeply personal narrative, inseparably bound to the life story of chef Antonino Cannavacciuolo. It stands on the ground of his own memories, where once his grandfather kept the olive press, and presents itself today as a space rich in resonance, in which an authentic vision of hospitality is brought back to life. The kitchen, entrusted with great sensitivity to resident chef Nicola Somma, consistently interprets the chef’s vision: a continuous dialogue between North and South, between homeland and adopted home, expressed through harmonious and recognisable dis

With only twelve seats, this intimate dining room inside the Majestic Palace Hotel is adorned with a vegetal‑themed mural that sets the stage for the romantic views from the windows: one of the coast’s most beautiful gardens, with citrus and olive trees – including a thousand‑year‑old specimen – and the vegetable patch that supplies some of the vegetables served in the dishes. Chef Mario Affinita offers four tasting menus (with an à la carte option as well), inspired both by the Campania region and by his international experiences. The result is a cuisine that is elaborate, technical, and prec

Even if the weather isn’t kind and you can’t eat outdoors, make sure you have an aperitif or perhaps just take a look at the terrace with its stunning views of the Bay of Naples, especially at sunset. Once the sun has set, enjoy dishes prepared by chef Ciro Sicignano, who hails from Gragnano and who showcases the specialities of Campania to perfection. The region’s traditional recipes and ingredients are reinterpreted with energy and imagination, with a focus on vegetables (which the chef sources from two kitchen gardens) and a dedicated olive oil menu. This restaurant housed within the elegant Villa Franca hotel in the upper part of Positano boasts a small, bright dining room with distinctive black marble tables (just seven of them!), a glass ceiling and floor-to-ceiling windows that open in summer to create an outdoor dining space. The beautiful view looks out to sea and Li Galli, the island after which the restaurant is named. Following the end of the restaurant’s partnership with Nino Di Costanzo, chef Savio Perna (originally from Torre del Greco) now steps into the spotlight on his own. He takes his inspiration mainly from the local regi

Boasting a splendid location overlooking the sea, this gourmet restaurant is part of the Capo La Gala hotel. Head down to the seafront from the hotel entrance (lift available) to the restaurant, where the romantic lapping of the waves and a spectacular view (especially at sunset) accompany your meal, along with impeccable service overseen by the skilful Giulia Tavolaro. Chef Emmanuel Scotti, from Ischia, serves various tasting menus of meat and fish, with the option of choosing courses à la carte style. His cuisine focuses on local recipes and ingredients, giving them a modern twist with the o

For over 70 years, the elegant Il Bikini restaurant has been soaking up the sun in this superb location facing the spectacular Bay of Naples. Now home to a new and exuberant chef, the restaurant serves classic fish cuisine with a contemporary twist at lunchtime under the name Locanda di Mare, while in the evening the restaurant transforms into L’Atollo, a more elegant, fine-dining venue. Ever since the restaurant was opened in 1952, the panoramic terrace here has been one of the best places in the region in which to enjoy good food and spectacular sea views.

Le Agavi Hotel's gourmet restaurant features a room with large windows overlooking the blue sea and a small terrace with tables en plein air, as well as a view of illuminated Positano (book well in advance). The kitchen is run by the talented Chef Annarumma, who manages to combine a very contemporary technique with Campania's rich regional culinary heritage. The wine selection is very interesting, ranging even beyond the Italian territory, emphasizing Champagnes with an interesting selection of rosés as well. Emilia, the kind and professional sommelier, will be able to advise on the right pair
