In a dining room with marble columns and flooring and enhanced by a beautiful grand piano, Rossana Marziale serves Mediterranean dishes that showcase the ingredients of Caserta and the Campania with a perfect balance of comforting classic flavours and creative modern ideas. Buffalo mozzarella takes pride of place here, presented in many different ways, including in some of the desserts.

One of the most attractive restaurants in the city centre, Sunrise occupies the ground floor of an old Bourbon palazzo, extending right to the back of the building where you’ll find the delightful “literary veranda” and, beyond the large windows, a beautiful outdoor space surrounded by a garden planted with citrus trees. The menu has an exclusive focus on fish, with a combination of classic options and light, modern dishes, while an entire page is dedicated to raw fish and seafood. The wine list includes several champagnes.

Just steps from the Arco dell’Annunziata, in a quiet side street off Via Roma, Peculiare is the reflection of a young chef’s talent. The menu blends creativity and tradition, with dishes such as sole Wellington, tagliolini with sea urchins, and a refined Rossini-style filet with velvety purée and foie gras. The sober, elegant setting unfolds in an 18th-century palace, where an ancient arch tells the story of the place. The warm welcome and genuine smiles round out the experience.
