At Chassé Hotel Residency you can taste the luxurious atmosphere of a beautiful four-star boutique hotel located in the picturesque part of Amsterdam East. The monumental Christus Koning church has been transformed into luxurious hotel rooms and can be used for short-stay and long-stay due to the open kitchen in most rooms. The hotel which opened on July 14, 2023 invites guests into a beautifully renovated space that blends its historic charm with elements of Mr. Balkissoon’s Guyanese heritage, offering a unique combination of history and modern luxury. The transformation’s centerpiece is the theatre hall named Balkissoon Theater, once the church’s main sanctuary, now a versatile venue for performances, shows, weddings, conferences, meditation, and yoga classes. It reflects the building’s adaptability.
