This is the gourmet restaurant at the hotel of the same name, one of the most luxurious in the Val Gardena. The elegant, contemporary dining room has an intimate and minimalist feel, which provides the backdrop for cuisine created by chef Mario Porcelli. Although originally from Puglia, Porcelli has been working in the Dolomites for many years and he is equally at home with local dishes as he is with recipes from his native region. Since December 2023, there has been a new chef at Nives who appeared on Masterchef and has left his work as a project manager to follow his passion for cooking. His cuisine is generous both in the choice of dishes offered (including a few fish options) and in portion sizes. The house specialities include convivial fondues (either Chinese style or made with local cheese) and premium local beef (Tomahawk, T-bone, ribeye, sliced etc). There’s also an interesting choice of wine by the glass.

In a breathtakingly beautiful natural setting between the Sassolungo peak and the majestic Sella mountains, this restaurant serves simple mountain fare alongside a few more modern dishes, all of which are prepared from typical ingredients from the Alto Adige.
