It is thanks to Thomas Schanz that this small town on the Mosel, already known for its excellent wines, has also become a mecca for foodies. With his own distinctive style, he puts a modern spin on classic cuisine. The dishes are very precisely and delicately crafted using ingredients of outstanding quality. Prepared with a very personal touch, one of the chef-patron's signature classics is his pot-au-feu, which is adapted to each season – at the time of our visit it featured rabbit saddle, kidney and liver, young root vegetables and lovage – simply wonderful! Farm to table, Mediterranean Cuisine · ★ Michelin

In this small winemaking village, Daniela and Alexander Oos have turned a winegrower's house dating back to 1672 into a lovely fine dining restaurant where guests really feel at home. The chef cooks up classic cuisine using seasonal ingredients and drawing on Mediterranean and Asian influences; front of house, the cordial proprietress wins over diners with her easy Tyrolean charm. Punchy, elegant dishes made from top-notch ingredients (eg tender and aromatic slow-cooked Wagyu beef saddle with a robust jus full of depth and delicate sweetness) are accompanied by a great wine list with an emphas

Contemporary, Classic Cuisine

The former tithe farm from 1485 - still with a beautiful half-timbered facade - offers homely, modern guest rooms and a very nice, tasteful and casual restaurant on two floors with smaller and larger rooms and charming niches. The kitchen serves really good contemporary dishes from many regional and always seasonal products. Wines from the own vineyard. In summer, the terrace is inviting.

Roussel's Restaurant La Bonne Adresse

Classic Cuisine

€€€

Thierry Roussel and Jane Kölchens run this place with dedication. The elegant restaurant exudes cosiness, and the extremely friendly service, directed by your hostess, also contributes to the pleasant atmosphere. At beautifully laid tables, upscale classic cuisine is served in the form of set menus (one vegetarian) or à la carte. They are also happy to share their wine recommendations, including some from their own production. Plus: guestrooms where you will feel right at home.
