George Restaurant

Contemporary, Campanian · ★★ Michelin

This roof-garden restaurant in one of Naples’ most luxurious hotels (Grand Hotel Parker’s) boasts an open-view kitchen facing a breathtaking panorama that takes in Vesuvius, the Bay of Naples and the city itself, which extends below the hotel in an evocative display of sparkling lights. It’s a challenge for the cuisine to compete with so much beauty but young chef Domenico Candela is more than equal to the task. His cuisine showcases the culinary specialities of the city and further afield with extraordinary skill, combining superb produce and recipes from Campania with techniques learnt in Fr

At the first terrace leading up to Vomero, with the comfort of paid parking just steps away, an intimate, captivating venue awaits, where warm décor meets impeccable dining room service. The sommelier, with grace and discretion, guides guests through intriguing labels, unveiling small regional producers and sparking curiosity with every recommendation. In the kitchen, the approach turns refined: several tasting menus or the option to order à la carte from the Essenziale and Autentico offerings. Particularly appealing is the Formula Funky, three surprise courses from the chef reserved for under

A stone's throw from the neoclassical Villa Pignatelli, with the municipal gardens in front and the sea just beyond, lies a haven of authentic charm: you can sit outside or inside, where the décor is reminiscent of an elegant tavern. “You only live once, so eat well” is the motto here, and when you see the dishes arriving at your table, you can't help but agree. Neapolitan classics executed to perfection and served in generous portions: from “mozzarella in carrozza” (fried mozzarella sandwiches) to cuoppo of fried anchovies, from mixed pasta with potatoes and provola cheese to “candele alla Ge

The ambience at this hushed and discreet restaurant couldn’t be more different from the hustle and bustle of the elegant district in which it is situated. The softly lit dining rooms are elegant and minimalist in style, with lamps creating pools of light illuminating the dishes conjured up by Paolo Barrale. Originally from Cefalù but now settled in Campania, the chef’s cuisine is inspired by the culinary traditions of both regions which he reinterprets with ease, occasionally creating more personalised dishes. Generous in every way, from the warm welcome to the cuisine right up to dessert, Pao

Il Ristorante Alain Ducasse Napoli

Alain Ducasse, one of the great names in contemporary fine dining, has arrived in Naples, opening this restaurant in the former premises of the prestigious Ristorante Il Comandante. Situated on the 9th floor of the ROMEO hotel overlooking the port, the restaurant boasts fine views of Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples, especially at sunset when the colours are truly spectacular. Meanwhile, the modern dining room, decorated completely in black, is equally as stunning as its surroundings, as are the finishing touches added to the dishes in the dining room by the excellent serving staff. In the picturesque alleyways of Spaccanapoli, an authentic trattoria unfolds across two spaces – at different street numbers (the other at number 4) – yet sharing the same soul: closely set tables in simple rooms, a lively and informal atmosphere, and young, smiling service. The cuisine is a hymn to Neapolitan tradition, with dishes that evoke the aromas of home: pasta mista with potatoes and smoked provola, crispy fried salt cod on escarole cream, and the lemon caprese, fresh and fragrant, perhaps enjoyed with a small glass of artisanal limoncello. Reservations and punctuality are essential,

The dream of a young Neapolitan chef comes to life in an intimate, refined hideaway, tucked among the elegant streets connecting Vomero to the Chiaia waterfront. Here, dishes burst with vivid colors and Mediterranean aromas, accented by contemporary touches that reveal personality and culinary exploration. Two blind tasting menus invite discovery, or guests may opt for a well-balanced à la carte selection of land and sea, where each ingredient shines with clarity, lifted by subtle exotic nuances that awaken the senses. The wine cellar, dominated by Campanian labels, exudes tradition, yet upon

Fans of Neapolitan pizza will be in their element at this restaurant, where the pizzas are light, with a larger and softer crust, thanks to the long fermentation and leavening process – some people come here simply to eat the crust, it’s so good. There’s also a wide choice of excellent toppings, including top-quality ingredients from Campania. Gluten-free options and dough made from different flours are also available.
