Having run this establishment with bags of charm and a sure touch for four generations, the Fehrenbacher family has made a real success of its restaurant – it has retained its Michelin star every year since 1990! Daniel Fehrenbacher, who took over the helm of this award-winning kitchen from his father Otto, is the man behind the outstanding modern French cuisine. He attaches great importance to showcasing what the region and the changing seasons have to offer, which is particularly evident in the game dishes. Interesting flavour contrasts are skilfully incorporated into the dishes. The winning

The appealing alliance of regional and modern influences is omnipresent at the Neumaier family's establishment – whether in the cosy restaurant, the food or the lovely comfortable guestrooms in the Speicher guesthouse next door. Chef-owner Peter Neumaier's sons Lars and Tim are now also involved in the kitchen. The menu features classic and seasonal dishes – be sure to check out the "mini Versucherle" (mini appetisers). You can eat à la carte or choose a set menu – vegetarian options are also available. Owner Michaela Neumaier heads up the team providing friendly service. In summer, the wonder

This picture-perfect Baden country inn boasts tastefully designed, inviting guestrooms and serves excellent food. The owner's son-in-law runs the kitchen, serving up regional cuisine that showcases seasonal produce – dishes such as braised beef cheeks in a Burgundy sauce or saddle of venison with cranberries and spaetzle are especially popular. Putting the emphasis on flavour and proper seasoning, only the finest and freshest ingredients are used. Charming and professional front-of-house team.

Inga and Ralf Müller have made a name for themselves with this friendly restaurant. This is due in no small part to the international and regional cuisine, which is made with very good, often local ingredients. The service is attentive and charming. In summer, you can dine on simpler fare in the charming courtyard with its vine arbour. There are chic, modern guestrooms and apartments for overnight stays.

This is the restaurant of the chic hotel of the same name, which provides the historical backdrop for your meal. The tasteful dining area is done out with high-end furnishings and a modern eye. Staff are friendly and professional as they set about serving you fine Baden classics, modernised French dishes, which you can choose à la carte or combine into a set menu – a vegetarian version is also available. The "Taste Menu" comprising six or seven small courses is also an excellent recommendation. In summer, the garden is magical!

Like the gourmet restaurant, Gasthaus also combines modernity and tradition, from the decor down to the menu. While things are a bit more casual here, the cooking is also really good – the quality of the sauces alone will convince you of that! You can put together your own menu – and even make it vegetarian. Friendly service.

The sort of restaurant you would love to have in your own neighbourhood. This long-standing family-run establishment delights guests with classics like cordon bleu, as well as contemporary creations such as scallops with pumpkin, curry and lemongrass – and, of course, excellent charcoal-grilled steaks. The menu, which features plenty of comforting soul food dishes, is complemented by friendly service and an inviting setting that makes it easy to linger. In summer, the terrace is divine. Unsurprisingly, this charming spot is also a popular choice for weddings.
