The Ossola gastronomic atelier offers a safe harbour for lovers of good food and drink in the town centre. The Bartolucci family's tradition has soared thanks to dynamic chef patron Giorgio and entrepreneurial sister Elisabetta, joined by Katia, whose smile and professionalism are invaluable to guest comfort. In addition to the welcoming service, the cuisine beckons clientele from afar. The evening menu is packed with revisited Ossola citations (among others, gathered in the tasting menu "Flavours and Aromas of the Mountains") alongside contemporary Italian culinary nods. A real bastion of local cuisine for over 60 years thanks to the hard work of an entire family. The menu features mountain-style cuisine, including game dishes, a small selection of local cheeses (we highly recommend the Bettelmatt) and home-made ice cream. Relaxed and informal ambience.

In business for over 50 years, this long-established, centrally located restaurant has changed its look over the years and is now a modern bistro with an attractive outdoor summer space overlooking the magical town centre. Here, the owner-chef serves fish prepared in two different ways, either in typical Italian tradition or in a style inspired by his native Spain – his paella is definitely worth sampling! The front of house is overseen by the owner’s friendly wife, who is also at hand to help with your wine choices.

In the heart of the picturesque town that serves as a gateway to Val Formazza stands a welcoming establishment where familial warmth blends with a touch of contemporaneity. In the kitchen Denis, joined in the dining room by his wife Sabrina, knows how to pamper guests with a series of dishes that evoke tradition while being reinterpreted with imagination and modern sensitivity. Not to be missed is their signature “Walser Beef Filet,” a true house specialty, though the “venison ossobuco with cream of potato and blueberry compote” also merits a taste.
