Meat and fish both feature on the menu, although it is the latter that has become renowned as the restaurant’s speciality over the years. The excellent service is friendly and informal yet highly professional, while the extensive wine list also includes a good selection of wines by the glass.

Although the menu features some meat dishes (on Sundays in winter, this includes specialities such as boiled meats, preceded by anolini pasta in broth and ending with typical desserts such as ciambella cake with zabaione), it is particularly renowned for its wide selection of fish dishes. At lunchtime during the week, there’s a choice of simpler recipes, but if you ask, staff will be happy to offer you the longer evening menu.
