Within the spectacular Villa della Pergola, set among an elegant botanical park overlooking the sea, a contemporary cuisine takes shape that is deeply connected to the territory and to the plant world. Many of the ingredients are sourced directly from the property’s own kitchen garden and biodynamic farm, an expression of an approach that is both distinctive and consistent. Two tasting menus are offered: Terræ, which brings together the signature dishes created by chef Romano during his years at Nove, and Rêverie, the more recent expression of his creative vision. À la carte dining is also avai

At Vignamare, a new chapter unfolds: two chefs at the helm, a clearly recognisable local identity and a cuisine that weaves together agricultural production and contemporary sensitivity. From Andora, the road climbs the hill through a series of hairpin bends leading to the car park; from there, a few steps on foot bring guests to the restaurant entrance, while the landscape already sets the tone for the experience: vineyards overlooking the sea, olive groves and maritime pines sketch one of Liguria’s most luxuriant views. The project was born from the restoration of a 1970s cistern, unused for

Situated just beyond the centre of Albenga in a beautiful location right on the beach (with only a small private beach club separating it from the sea), this restaurant has been in business for over 20 years (10 years on this site, and 10 in the town centre before that). It is renowned for its excellent, modern cuisine that focuses on top-quality, fresh and seasonal fish. A lighter (yet equally excellent) menu is also available at lunchtime.

The reopening in 2022 of the Hotel Windsor with its romantic vintage decor, is a real bonus for Laigueglia, especially the hotel’s new gourmet restaurant Savô (which translates as “flavour” in Ligurian dialect). Here, a contemporary dining room and an outdoor space with views of the beach and the sea provide the setting for modern cuisine prepared from regional, seasonal ingredients with a focus on fish (there is also a meat option for each course). The impressive selection of wine and choice of cocktails from the elegant Windsor Bar adds to its appeal.

A tiny gem in the historic center, just steps from the San Michele towers. A very intimate setting, with a refined yet informal atmosphere. The cuisine? Seafood with a seasonal twist, including standouts such as the surprising Brandapolenta: creamy baccala, crispy polenta, taggiasca olive pâté. Reserving a table – especially for outdoor seating – is a must!
