At the highest point of the town, in Gabicce Monte, a short tunnel with porthole windows leads to a lift and from there to the restaurant: an enchanting terrace (enclosed by glass walls when the weather demands) commanding views over the sea and the surrounding hills. We recommend arriving at sunset: when weather conditions are favourable, the sunset from here is spectacular. Much the same can be said of Davide Di Fabio’s cooking, which draws inspiration from various gastronomic traditions – local and otherwise – to which the chef brings a personal and thoroughly accomplished interpretation. Posillipo’s superb fish dishes have made the restaurant a must in the region, with options ranging from raw fish to traditional pasta specialities and delicious main courses (fish fillets, catch of the day, fried options etc).
