Ligurian, Contemporary · ★ Michelin

The young Jacopo Chieppa, captivated early on by a passion for cooking, began his career working with doughs and leavened products, before training in prestigious establishments such as Mirazur in Menton and Antica Corona Reale in Cervere. Today, in a skilfully restored former mill, he offers cooking that is playful and indulgent, contemporary in form yet rooted in classic ingredients, including those from the restaurant’s own kitchen garden adjacent to the premises. The gastronomic experience unfolds through two distinct tasting menus: Identità, which brings together the signature dishes most

This fine restaurant enjoys a pleasant location in the charming Borgo Prino, a string of houses painted in typical pastel colours right in front of the sea. The legendary mildness of the Ligurian climate makes it possible to eat outdoors often, but should that not be possible the charm of the indoor dining room, an old shed furnished with excellent contemporary taste, will be anything but an afterthought. Service is elegant and impeccable, headed gracefully by hostess Alessandra. Last but not least, the cuisine of the chef-patron, as well as husband, Andrea Sarri: the extraordinary quality of

Situated in picturesque Dolcedo, this restaurant occupies an early 20C mill complete with millstone and press. The cuisine focuses on an interesting selection of traditional Ligurian dishes with a satisfying balance of meat and fish (occasionally on the same plate), plus creative touches and hints of the Piedmont, all of which combine to make a trip to this inland restaurant well worth while!

A small establishment in the heart of the historic centre, where simple and genuine cooking pays homage to the flavours of the sea and the Ligurian tradition. Quality ingredients, dishes executed with care and a decidedly competitive bill make it an ideal port of call for those in search of authenticity without affectation. Among the most accomplished offerings, the stoccafisso accomodato alla ligure stands out, a great classic interpreted with respect and taste.

A young chef, strengthened by experience in important kitchens, has brought the village’s old nursery school back to life, carefully restoring it and transforming it into a restaurant that proposes contemporary cooking with more or less overt ties to the local area. The offering is structured around tasting menus, from which individual dishes may also be chosen à la carte. Among the dishes not to be missed is the marinated brown meagre fillet with seasonal vegetables: impeccable cooking, convincing pairings and a harmonious balance that leaves its mark. In summer, a wonderful outdoor space, al

Since 1906, when distant forebears established a simple osteria with wine counter, this establishment has travelled a remarkable path. Today it presents itself as a welcoming and well-appointed restaurant, distinguished by elegant and contemporary furnishings. The cooking offers an à la carte selection of fish and meat dishes, complemented by tasting menus that allow guests to place themselves entirely in the hands of the chef. The well-structured wine list encompasses not only Ligurian labels but also selections from other regions. The terrace overlooking the pedestrian thoroughfare is most p
