Situated in a small alleyway in a tranquil spot above the historic centre of Malcesine, this restaurant opens on to a surprising garden planted with olive trees and boasting fine views of much of Lake Garda. The restaurant is run by chef Leandro Luppi, originally from the Alto Adige, who has been creating superb cuisine in this region for over 20 years and is renowned for his skilful and imaginative dishes. He now showcases his creative, personalised recipes on two tasting menus: “Qcina 24” features his latest creations, while “Our Classic” is dedicated to his iconic specialities. Dishes can a

An annexe to the family farm with its organic apple orchards, this rustic, welcoming restaurant situated on the road leading up towards Monte Baldo has been in business since 1984. Despite its years of experience, the management team here does not rest on its laurels but continues to serve cuisine rooted in regional traditions with just a touch of imagination and modern influence in some dishes. Open every day in summer, but only Friday to Sunday at other times of year.

The kitchen changeover at the beginning of 2025 brought into the spotlight the young and talented Trentino chef Andrea De Lillo, who skillfully draws on his extensive experience in top-tier establishments. Together with the owners, who also manage the Hotel Belfiore that houses NIN’s spaces, he has established an ultra-modern and creative cuisine based entirely on local raw materials. It won’t be contradictory to see shiitake mushrooms or wagyu beef served, because these are all local cultivations and farms: the famous Japanese beef, for example, comes from nearby Monte Baldo. We recommend arriving early at this restaurant housed within the “EALA – My Lakeside Dream” hotel so that you can admire the spectacular daytime views of the lake through the floor-to-ceiling windows in the two dining rooms. Here, Alfio Ghezzi creates two tasting menus (from which dishes can be chosen à la carte style) which celebrate the region, starting with a focus on freshwater fish. His unmistakeable style results in dishes that are elegant and occasionally minimalist (but not simple), while avoiding unnecessary frills so that the flavours of the superb ingredients shine through.

The whole place is designed to provide an enjoyable gourmet experience, from the friendly welcome to the sofas and armchairs where guests can sit and enjoy an aperitif accompanied by some enticing appetisers. With the passing of time, Brunel has proven to be ever more skilful in showcasing the Trentino to

Nestled among the Valpolicella hills, guests may settle into the cozy dining room with its fireplace, the charming veranda, or in fine weather the outdoor terrace. The warm hospitality ushers diners into the world of chef Renza Peretti, who celebrates local traditions while embracing modern inspiration. Noteworthy dishes include the Amarone-braised meat tortelli, duck terrine with puff pastry, and the passion fruit soufflé with vanilla ice cream. The wine list devotes many pages to the Verona region, with an impressively broad selection available by the glass.

The flavors, aromas, and wines of Vallagarina take center stage at this delightfully situated venue within the seventeenth-century walls of Palazzo de Probizer, offering stunning mountain views (weather permitting). The cellar features virtually every wine producer in the area (available by the glass as well!) while the kitchen relies on a well-proven formula: a single tasting menu that changes daily, with the option to select just a few dishes. The creations draw inspiration from the seasons, the territory, and Italian tradition, as well as from the fragrant bounty of the restaurant’s own gar
