Kirkwood Mountain Resort by Vail Resorts
Nestled 35 miles southwest of South Lake Tahoe, Kirkwood offers a unique, rewarding experience. Known for its deep, dry snow and challenging terrain, Kirkwood provides big-mountain riding with a small-town feel. Whether you're seeking adventure, exploring diverse terrain, or personal challenges, Kirkwood caters to all levels, from groomed beginner runs to thrilling cornices and cliffs. During summer, Kirkwood transforms into a high-alpine playground with world-class rock climbing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and fishing. Check-in begins at 4 PM at the Keystone Condo Reception Center (21996 US-6, Keystone, CO 80435 or Homestead Circle, Dillon, CO 80435). Front desk hours are 9 AM to 7 PM, Sunday to Thursday, and 9 AM to 10 PM on Friday and Saturday. For arrivals after closing, lockbox access instructions are available by calling 970-496-1427.
