Within the Feniletto nature reserve, the restaurant looks out over a tree-lined garden, an organic kitchen garden and an orchard that speak directly to the cooking. The warm and intimate interiors recall an elegant domestic drawing room, with wood, soft lighting and a welcome of homey character. At the stove is chef Francesco Sodano, who offers exclusively blind tasting menus: the guest chooses one of three journeys and the number of courses, while the dishes arrive as a surprise. The ‘Ricomincio da tre’ menu pays homage to Campania and gathers some of the chef’s signature dishes, among them a

Housed in a small villa in the residential area of the village, this intimate and secluded restaurant serves delicious cuisine with distinctly regional roots. In season, locally sourced truffles take centre stage, while fish and seafood dominate the menu at other times of year.

La Fefa is the perfect place for lovers of authentic flavours from the Emilia region. The Inspector sums it up like this: “Flicking through the menu you want to try everything!” - and this really is the case. Start your meal off with a selection of the finest charcuterie, in which an outstanding Culatello di Zibello, accompanied by a “Gnocco Fritto” not to be missed reigns supreme. Continue with excellent homemade, fresh-egg pasta followed by main courses made up exclusively of meat, in keeping with local tradition. The dessert page is deliciously tempting, offering an extensive selection of s

2027 will mark forty years of business: a story made up of aromas, flavours and traditions, the story of the Portinari family, who have carved their name among the pillars of Venice's restaurant scene and beyond. Chef Nicola Portinari welcomes guests to La Peca with one clear goal: to give them pleasure, letting them choose freely from an extensive and inviting menu (for those who prefer a guided experience, there are three tasting menus, including a vegetarian option). Leafing through it, it is easy to be seduced by dishes that speak to the palate and the mind. His creations are technical, bu

Verona’s quintessential historic and elegant restaurant, this is where Chef Perbellini, already two-starred at a previous location, achieved the coveted three stars. Expect a sumptuous, refined setting, rich with color and historical references, paired with extraordinary cuisine expressed through three tasting menus, with dishes also available à la carte. “Io e Silvia” showcases the chef’s latest creations; choose “L’Essenza” for a vegetarian journey; while “Storie di Casa” presents the chef’s signature dishes in a contemporary key. But there is yet another option: the chef’s table, in effect

A beautiful farmhouse not far from the town, with a friendly, welcoming and colourful feel, where the menu features Italian dishes alongside a few local specialities, such as an excellent "bagna caoda". Special mention goes to the superb selection of beers chosen by owner Moreno, which ranges from local craft beers to labels from across the globe. There’s even a beer-themed dessert, the Birramisù. Offering excellent value for money, it is extremely popular, so booking ahead is recommended.

Within an extraordinary palazzo in the historic center, the experience begins in the fifteenth-century cellars, where an amuse-bouche is served in an evocative atmosphere before guests ascend to the sixteenth-century dining room. Amid frescoes, exposed stone, and brick, with the open kitchen visible at the far end, this ranks among the most elegant restaurants in the region. At the stove, Giacomo Sacchetto offers several tasting menus, with dishes that may be freely selected from one list or another. Both seafood and land-based offerings, elaborate and creative, leave the mark of a thrilling g
