Lukas Restaurant
Creative, Asian Influences · ★ Michelin
€€€€
"France, Japan, Innviertel" is the tagline here. In this tastefully decorated restaurant – with a distinctive blend of old vaulted ceilings and modern design – Lukas Kienbauer and his team can be seen at work in the open kitchen. Here, superb ingredient quality meets artisanal precision in dishes that skilfully bridge the gap between classic French and Japanese cuisine, and the culinary traditions of the Inntal. The surprise menu comes in a four-, six- or eight-course format – and Japanese A5 Wagyu is available to add on or swap in. There is an excellent selection of wines, to be perused on a

The clue is in the name: this restaurant is dedicated to Japanese food. The menu features not only sushi and sashimi, but also tempting dishes to share and items from the Konro grill; there is also an izakaya set menu. The taste and quality of the ingredients live up to expectations. The magnificent vaulted ceiling makes for a unique setting – with a chic and urban design and cosy atmosphere. You can steal glimpses of the chefs at work in the open kitchen at the entrance. The service is friendly and professional, and the chef is also present on the restaurant floor. Armed with valuable experience gained in top establishments, Marcel von Winckelmann has struck out on his own with this restaurant with an open and friendly vibe. The centrepiece is the horseshoe-shaped chef's table wrapped around the visible kitchen, where you are right in the middle of the action. You can really sense the young team's enthusiasm for interacting with diners – this creates a personalised and authentic atmosphere. The seasonal cooking uses selected ingredients. There is one five-course and one seven-course set menu, with dishes such as Norway lobster, pumpkin, sea buckthorn or

This converted farmstead, which is over 250 years old, has been given a new lease of life courtesy of an upscale, modern makeover, without any of its original character being lost in the process. A laid-back, relaxed atmosphere reigns in the elegant, clean-lined restaurant housed in what was once the cowshed. The beautiful brick cross-vaulted ceiling lends a special quality to the space. The open kitchen is visible from a few of the tables. True to the motto "Vive la Hoamat" (regional soul, French craft), the seasonal set menu comprising four or six courses showcases many regional ingredients

After a stroll through the city, how about dinner at a chic restaurant with a trendy modern decor? There are plenty of options to choose from here at Weingut, including house specialities, steaks, plus a selection of dishes that changes every week (see the "Wochenkarte"). Alternatively, you could simply opt for tapas or a glass of wine – you can also buy bottles to take home. The service is very friendly and attentive. Decorative wine racks and high tables contribute to the pleasant wine bar atmosphere of the place. There are two reservation times: 17:30 - 20:00 and from 20:15.

The name of this restaurant refers to the year 2020, in which Andrea von Csiszer (head chef) and Sophie Herzog (the cordial and highly adept maître d') set up shop. Diners are drawn here not only by the somewhat unusual setting in a historical chapel with striking features such as vaults and ceiling paintings, but also the trendy and laid-back atmosphere, as well as the intriguing culinary concept: Asian sharing cuisine with a European twist. You can put together an assortment of several small, cleverly devised dishes to share, such as "Peking pork 24hr sous vide" with fried onion, soya and ho
