Overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea from the centre of Civitavecchia, this stately and refined hotel offers a uniquely stylish holiday. The National Archaeological Museum, Cathedral of San Francesco d'Assisi, and the immense Forte Michelangelo are all within a five-minute walk of the hotel, and history buffs won't want to miss the castle, known as La Rocca, or the Ficoncella Roman baths. The classic guest rooms feature a cosy double bed or two single beds in addition to a marble en suite bathroom. Guests might dine on Italian cuisine at the sumptuous in-house restaurant, sip an aperitif or a glass of wine at the American Bar, and enjoy a daily newspaper in the dignified lobby or the elegant rooftop garden.
