Its entrance is independent from the luxurious Conrad Algarve hotel and displays an unmistakable character, both through the private lobby bar and the elegant, contemporary dining room. The terrace, perched above the pool, can further enhance the experience! The culinary offerings are created by renowned German chef Heinz Beck (holder of three MICHELIN stars at La Pergola, Rome), who remains faithful to a philosophy rooted in Mediterranean and Italian influences, emphasising a balance of modernity and the creation of healthy cuisine, increasingly recognised under concepts such as “healthy cook

If you’re looking for a pleasant, romantic spot with excellent service… this is a must-visit restaurant! Set in a charming Algarvian house, with outdoor courtyards filled with plants and greenery. Inside, it’s divided into different dining rooms, plus a bar area at the entrance, complete with a lovely fireplace. The concept is based on international cuisine, with strong French and Portuguese influences, highlighting the quality of the predominantly local produce. The menu features a 6-course tasting option, vegetarian choices, and off-menu dishes featuring the day’s freshest products. Our reco

An elegant establishment, not without glamour, designed for an exclusive clientele who value both the atmosphere (there is a pianist in the room and the kitchen is on view) and the gastronomic experience. The proposal, offered solely à la carte, revolves around classic French-inspired cooking, very much in line with the famous 1970s Nouvelle Cuisine. You will find iconic dishes from that era (such as Beef Wellington or Madagascar-vanilla Crème brûlée) recreated from the original recipes, while incorporating a contemporary touch. It also has a pleasant outdoor chill-out area!

Located near the Pinhal Golf Course, a quiet, residential area of the upscale town of Vilamoura. It occupies a classic house, tastefully decorated and surrounded by a pleasant outdoor terrace — ideal for summer days. Here, German chef Willie Wurger offers classic international cuisine with modern twists. The freshness of the lobster tail, served with a delicate avocado cream, mango cubes, bisque, and a crunchy sesame tuile, stands out among the selection based on excellent quality products. The veal rib-eye with pistachio tagliatelle, and the crisp millefeuille with white chocolate mousse perf

Behind the name “austa”, a Latin term meaning “south wind”, lies, poetically, a veiled homage to the Algarve region and, above all, the intention to be a breath of fresh air in Almancil’s gastronomic landscape. In this restaurant with an alternative spirit (seen in its music, ambience and the terrace - which can even feel like a chill-out space, set in a rural-residential setting, you will find an appealing contemporary proposal. They work à la carte, but also surprise with good breakfasts and a touch of brunch!
