The power and intensity of the flavours are as impressive as the degree of finesse and refreshing notes. Top-notch ingredients take centre stage – think Icelandic ikejime char confit in ox marrow fat with roasted leek, leek ash, white Alba truffle and verjus sauce. The upscale interior has a chic, modern feel. S

Good-quality regional and seasonal ingredients are used to rustle up modern-inspired dishes, which are also served in the form of a set menu. Choose a regional wine to go with your food. In summer, the terrace in the courtyard is a secluded spot. There are lovely individually decorated guestrooms too.

Diners are waited on by a friendly front-of-house team in an attractive modern setting with a rustic touch. The food is flavoursome, fresh and seasonal. The main courses are also available in smaller portions. In summer, make a beeline for the gorgeous terrace to the rear of the building.
