This luxury accommodation offers unique, understated elegance, with the Swartberg Mountains as backdrop and a magnificent waterhole at the doorstep. This is the closest visitors can get to the wild of the Klein Karoo and to true African accommodation. Buffelsdrift Game Lodge offers it's guests luxury tented accommodation with sprawling views and a variety of wildlife. We are proud to offer our guests unique opportunities to interact with our animals, the most popular being our elephant interactions. We invite our guests to walk, feed and groom our gentle giants, and make memories together as a family. Within 10 km away are attractions such as the culture-rich town of Oudtshoorn, Swartberg Mountain Nature Reserve, the Cango Caves, several Ostrich farms and popular South African wineries. Guests can take part in organised African bush safaris, meerkat safaris, elephant feeding, walking and riding trips and experience an array of wildlife including elephants, rhino, Cape buffalo, giraffe, hippo and over 200 bird species. The exclusive luxury tent accommodation and the chance to try authentic Karoo cuisine will prove irresistible for the fans of exotic travels.
