Daniel Antuna and his wife Petra have been pampering their guests from the warm welcome on the doorstep to the final goodbye as they leave with a smile on their lips since 2005. An open kitchen ensures that you won’t miss any crumbs of the culinary show in this restaurant, which is also home to a chef’s table, where you will feel both at home and as if you are a VIP guest. Chef Antuna deploys state-of-the-art culinary techniques without betraying his classical training. His unique sense of flavour is superlatively enriched by Asian influences. For example, he may pair the delicacy of exception

€€

The Harika family has morphed the Faraya into an elegant restaurant, whilst retaining its home from home vibe (songbirds included!). True to Lebanese tradition, the authentic dishes are piled high in the middle of the table to be shared by all the guests. Smooth hummus, labneh, mixed grills rich in spices and baklava dripping in honey… Don’t miss the buffet (Saturday evening and Sunday lunchtime).

Lammekeshoeve

Classic French, Belgian

€€€

The epitome of a swish, luxurious brasserie, Lammekeshoeve also boasts an exquisite garden patio for fine weather alfresco dining and a conservatory packed in summer vibes for the rest of the year. The chef has no qualms about forging his own path, whilst delving into a repertory of Franco-Belgian classics. Generosity is his overriding goal from the crunchy shrimp fritters and vol-au-vent stuffed with juicy Malines chicken in a creamy sauce to the decadent dame blanche (vanilla ice cream and hot chocolate sauce) dessert. A firm favourite with a business clientele, it has also found favour with

Auberge Napoleon

Belgian, Classic French

€€€

Auberge Napoleon has been a favourite with foodies for years. With high ceilings and charming old beams, the restaurant is entirely done out in white. The chandelier is a particularly impressive feature. On the terrace, you can take in the full beauty of the garden, a tranquil green escape. The extensive menu features classic cuisine – expertly done, down to the dishes finished table side. Think duck breast with an intensely flavoursome port sauce, sole meunière or hop shoots in hollandaise sauce. Many of the dishes can be shared, which ups the fun factor!

Brasserie Taste

Classic Cuisine, Mediterranean Cuisine

€€€

Taste is worthy of its name alone for its spacious, stylish interior, whose picture windows invite nature indoors. This characterful brasserie oozes classy luxury from every pore. Chef Van Hoecke unveils a passion for traditional cuisine and top-notch produce. The score is familiar yet scattered with unexpected international influences as it seamlessly slaloms between crispy shrimp fritters, royal vol-au-vent, fresh tangy ceviche and grilled duck packed in Asian notes. The plating is emblematic of this attention to detail and sense of refinement. There is something for everyone at Taste!
