Find a table on the spacious terrace of this modern winery to enjoy wonderful views out across the vineyard and the hills; on a warm summer’s day, it doesn’t get much better than this. The well-curated wine list covers Hungary and Europe, and includes reds and rosés from the vines you see in front of you, as well as whites from the owners’ other winery in Tokaj. The concise selection of contemporary dishes take their inspiration from the Hungarian kitchen but exhibit a level of refined creativity. The passionate team will share their knowledge to help you find the perfect wine match.

GÓRÉ

A góré is a barn used to dry cereals, and that was this sleek restaurant’s former function – although it's hard to imagine that following its chic refurbishment. Climb the stairs to the raised dining area beneath the beams to enjoy the view out through the floor-to-ceiling windows; alternatively, enjoy an al fresco experience on the covered terrace. The heart of the menu has strong classical foundations, but unique additions offer innovation and originality, with fermentation techniques featuring highly. The restaurant is remotely set in a sleepy village, so the comfy bedrooms are a real bonus
