From 189 guest reviews · multi-source · as of 2026-07-17

Guests highly praise the prime ski-in/ski-out location, exceptional dining variety and quality, and consistently friendly staff. The main drawbacks are limited and slow free Wi-Fi (lobby only), some dated room furnishings, and the hotel's isolated setting far from town. Despite minor issues, the overall experience is excellent, reflecting a strong 9.0 rating.

This restaurant in the Hotel Das Central has bags of character! Gorgeous Swiss pine panelling and furnishings create a warm and cosy atmosphere and exude a sense of tradition. The kitchen team prepares a set menu comprising five or seven courses, with a vegetarian version also available on request. The dishes draw on modern influences to showcase regional culinary tradition, featuring locally sourced ingredients such as Längenfeld salmon trout or fallow deer from Sölden. A meal at the Hotel Jagdhof restaurant is all about the ingredients – the quality is fantastic. Spanning five to seven courses, the set menu composed by junior chef Alban Pfurtscheller and team showcases regional ingredients supplemented by some from further afield. Highlights range from aromatic smoked locally caught char to three-week-aged saddle of venison from the hotel's own hunting grounds and perfectly cooked medallions of ultra-fresh Breton lobster tail. The wine list is second to none – drawing on a wealth of expertise and a collection of 1 250 labels and around 20 000 bottles, the st

This stylish little restaurant in the Gourmet & Wine Hotel Austria set at an altitude of 1 930m only has space for a handful of diners per service. In the modern-Alpine interior, high-calibre design meets beautiful old floor-to-ceiling wood panelling. The kitchen follows its own philosophy: the cuisine is close to nature and regionally sourced yet open to international influences. Carinthian-born head chef Verena Stattmann proposes a fine dining set menu in the evening – this is where she gives free rein to her passion for cooking, which is reflected not least in the distinctiveness of her cui

A young chef and a brilliant maître-d’ work together at this restaurant, where the cuisine is full of character and has its roots firmly anchored in the region. The menu allows guests to choose from four to six courses, all prepared using local ingredients such as lamb raised on a nearby farm served with parsnips and a refined jus, or reinterpreted dumplings served with morel mushrooms and spring peas. Matteo oversees the wine list, guiding guests on a unique journey through Italian and international labels collected over the past twenty years, all offering excellent value for money. Three imp

He and his small team serve up a creative seasonal set menu comprising five or seven courses. His dishes, skilfully pared down to the essentials, attest to a subtle touch and are full of expression. Breathtaking 180° views of the Val Venosta provide the theatrical setting for Gerhard Wieser’s culinary talents at this restaurant. The chef’s cuisine is as precise as a Swiss clock yet full of international influences, with ingredients transformed into small masterpieces thanks to impeccable techniques and an elegant flair. His most memorable creations include red prawn tail cooked over a wood fire and served glazed, on top of a pea mixture (served plain, with cream or with olive oil) flavoured with chorizo sauce.
