Originating from Trang province, the family behind Jaan by Khun Jim brings authentic Southern Thai and Thai-Chinese cuisine to Bangkok. The name, meaning "plate" in Thai, reflects the sentimental significance of serving dishes on vintage plates passed down from the owner's grandmother. In this restaurant housed in a converted two-storey home set in lush greenery, the menu features freshly squeezed coconut milk which beautifully elevates both savoury dishes and desserts. Nam Prik Khayam Kung Sod – a vibrant shrimp chilli dip – is also a great start.

When Ruenros opened 40+ years ago, its owner came from a medical background, hence the focus on herbal and medicinal braised dishes. The 3rd generation heir now runs it and he chooses all the market fresh ingredients himself every day. Specialties include spring rolls using a family recipe, stir-fried goat with celery, fried rice with salted fish and slow-cooked soup, which is packed with flavour. For dessert, try the taro purée with sticky rice.

Since opening in 2024, Jek Tod has swiftly garnered attention for its generous portions and bold flavours. It serves an array of pork-based noodle dishes, crafted with fresh, carefully prepared ingredients and savoury broths. A standout is the "Signature Bowl", which is generously packed with pork condiments and offal. Customers can choose between a tom yam or clear broth. Adding an onsen egg lends extra richness and brings balance.

Jamn offers a private dining experience in a family home. The menu is customised to your preferences or features typical Thai dishes. Their family set menu includes an appetiser, dessert, and a main course presented in the Thai samrap style with five dishes for sharing. We recommend starting with the crispy shrimp paste rice with sweet tiny shrimp and sour mango. A minimum charge per table is required.

Ōre, with its minimalist design of wood, fabric and natural tones, offers an intimate culinary journey of over 30 bite-sized creations centred on Thai ingredients with select imports. The chef extols the flavour-enhancing properties of the mineral water that he gets shipped in from a spring near Sai Yok Waterfall to use in his cooking. His creative dishes highlight natural flavours and aromas that deepen throughout the meal, making for an unforgettable dining experience.
