The twelfth-century Rajhenburg castle, magnificently restored, presides over the banks of the Sava. Within its walls, restaurant A3 welcomes guests in elegant rooms arranged around a broad inner courtyard, and boasts a wonderful cellar of Slovenian sparkling wines, an ideal setting for an aperitif. In the dining room, a surprise menu of 4, 6, or 8 courses is offered, the expression of a mature, modern cuisine of great flavour. Particular care is devoted to local, seasonal and own-produced ingredients, in full respect of the Pavlič aquaculture tradition and the family’s trout farming heritage.
