The Pennisi family business started in this butcher’s shop, which over time has expanded to include a restaurant serving excellent cuisine to guests who sit at small tables facing a counter where a fine selection of meat, salumi and cheeses is displayed. The menu features grilled meat options alongside filled rolls and hamburgers, as well as delicious cooked dishes that are both generous and substantial. We suggest asking staff for recommendations, as we did – we were not disappointed!

The scenery that you drive through to get to this restaurant on the slopes of Mt Etna is as breathtaking and impressive as the charming luxury Villa Neri hotel in which it is housed. On the slopes of "a muntagna," one of the respectful nicknames for the volcano in the area, just outside the town with ample private parking, you'll find a family-oriented setting offering predominantly meat dishes, fresh pasta, and mushrooms. The dishes are carefully prepared, with generous portions, and meals are always enjoyed in a lovely glass-enclosed veranda. The wine list focuses mainly on Sicilian and particularly Catanese selections.

Situated on Giarre’s main street, this small, simple restaurant has just a few tables and an informal atmosphere. The menu offers a small selection of reasonably priced dishes with a focus on Sicilian cuisine made from top-quality ingredients that guarantee delicious flavours.
