Guest scores & sentiment

From 78 guest reviews · multi-source · as of 2026-07-20

Guests frequently praise the spacious rooms, comfortable beds, friendly staff, and convenient location near Santa Fe. However, cleanliness is inconsistent, with reports of stains, dust, and missed housekeeping. WiFi is often slow or non-functional, while road noise, AC/heating or hot water issues, and outdated facilities are common complaints. Overall, the stay is decent but requires better maintenance and quality control.

La Once Mil

Mexican · ★ Michelin

In a city teeming with every kind of taco imaginable, it’s a Herculean task to rise above the throng, but there’s no denying that this bustling operation manages the feat with style. Once seated, diners will find their tables decked out with an impressive array of excellent house-made salsas, ranging from gentle (a vibrant salsa cruda) to incendiary (a beguiling “martajada” with arbol and morita chiles) but the fireworks are just beginning. Top-quality meats are a feature, as in a marvelously succulent, flavorful Prime arrachera — you’ll be hard-pressed to find better in any steakhouse. Just a

Sud 777

Creative, Mexican · ★ Michelin

Sud 777 enjoys an enviable location in Mexico City's ritzy Pedregal neighborhood. The space is modern and sprawling, with lofted ceilings, dark wood, and earthy colors.Chef Edgar Núñez presides over a multicourse tasting menu as well as a large a la carte comprising starters like a crispy corn infladita tucked with succulent octopus in a green mole or a sophisticated potato salad with soft boiled eggs and anchovies. As for the dish that simply can't be missed? It's the suckling Pig finished with a pibil-style sauce as well as pineapple, served with house-made tortillas for creating your own ta

Taquería Los Milanesos

Mexican · Bib

Far from any tourists, find this taqueria by looking for the orange awning, then following the yellow walkway hung with colorful flags overhead. Or, you could just follow the heady scent of meat. It's a simple space where you'll almost walk through the kitchen to the smattering of tables in the dining room, but you're not here for ambience; you're here for the tacos. These are Milanese-style tacos with breaded and fried pork cutlets sliced into thin strips and piled high atop tender corn tortillas. The meat is flavorful and tender, and with a squeeze of lime and house-made spicy green or smoky

Los Consentidos del Barrio

Climb the stairs to this second-story restaurant with a large dining room with wood tables and black chairs. The built-in charcoal grill keeps things toasty in the dining room, so you may want to grab a seat on the spacious patio with tall tables and chairs. The house specialty is tacos al carbon, with thinly sliced meat that is skillfully cooked on the grill, then diced. Proteins are the focus here, but vegetarian tacos aren't forsaken. Sliced poblano, nopales and mushrooms are among the top choices. Another can't-miss menu item? Their arrachera, or skirt steak, with its perfectly pink center

Carmela y Sal

Mexican

Carmela y Sal is Chef Gabriela Ruiz Lugo's love letter to her Tabasco roots. She shares so much of her personality in this welcoming, modern restaurant where a kind staff ensures an enjoyable experience. This isn't food that you'll find on every corner. Its distinct personality is memorable, and you'll be back in no time for another terrific meal. Don't miss dishes like the broccoli with spicy sauces, cheese and black piquin chili. Short rib con chirmol is packed with flavor, thanks to the generous sauce, and is a hearty dish intended for big appetites. Mostachón is a simple dessert to round t
