Gasthaus Weißenbeck
Farm to table, Regional Cuisine · Bib

You will find plenty of satisfied customers here, and no wonder! The mother-daughter duo of the Weissenbeck family cook with a real sense of ambition. Excellent produce, often sourced from regional suppliers, is transformed into well-crafted combinations that showcase both technical skill and a clear culinary identity. The menu, which changes according to seasonal availability, features dishes such as "venison pâté, mushroom salad, grape-ginger jelly" and "Bavarian char, kohlrabi noodles, lemon butter and parsley purée". The charming, almost picture-postcard inn makes for a really cosy setting

Nightingale Thai Cuisine & Bar

Having spent years in the bustling metropolis of Bangkok, Dominik and May Carqueville are bringing a slice of the Far East to Dachau. Born and raised in Thailand, the chef has an innate talent for working with authentic Thai flavours. She skilfully incorporates contemporary influences and locally-sourced ingredients into the traditional cuisine of her homeland. Using only the freshest ingredients, she crafts dishes such as Ma Hor (caramelised minced pork with peanuts, pineapple, coriander and chilli) or pan-seared sea bass fillet in a choo chee curry sauce with kaffir lime leaves. Regionality is a principle that underpins Bavarie, here at BMW Welt. This translates into combining elements of Bavarian and French cuisine with a focus on high-quality produce. You can dine à la carte or take the set menu – there is also a vegan option, plus a three-course business lunch deal. The atmosphere in the spacious, airy, high-ceilinged room is pleasant. Nice terrace with a view of the Olympic Park and Tower.

THE CLOUD by Käfer

Chef Jens Madsen serves up his extraordinary concept of "Culinary Nomadism", in which local ingredients meet global influences, at the equally special – and architecturally impressive – BMW Welt. For a year at a time, the spotlight is shone on a specific region of the world, its culinary traditions and techniques, spices etc. Each season brings with it change and progression – like a cloud moving through the sky. Inspired by his own trip to Africa, the chef takes you on a voyage of discovery of the flavours of East and South Africa. Top-quality produce goes into a tasting menu made up of eight

In the smart Gern neighbourhood, a short distance from Nymphenburg Palace, Jürgen Wolfsgruber – known for his restaurants in Schwabing, Sparkling Bistro and Das Tschecherl – has now opened another inviting establishment serving Austrian-inspired cuisine. Diners can either opt for the five-course "Ö-Makase" surprise menu or choose from the small selection of appealing à a la carte options such as Grammelknödel (potato dumplings stuffed with greaves) or soused brown trout. Attentive service comes courtesy of a well-coordinated team of friendly and adept waitstaff, who reliably provide astute win

This delightful restaurant with a cosy atmosphere, Jugendstil decor and charming service has been around since 1999. It brings not only Italian joie de vivre but also Italian cuisine to the table – try the sheep's-cheese ravioli! If you are open to letting the kitchen surprise you, take a punt on the four-course "Giorgio's Set Menu". Alongside a good Italian selection, the wine list includes some rarities from France. Incidentally, you also have the opportunity to purchase the aged balsamic vinegar after which this place is named. In summer, head for the shady terrace. The location by the Nymp

This lively restaurant is an institution in Neuhausen. In an outwardly unassuming-looking building on a residential street, diners tuck into delicious, pared-back dishes made with excellent ingredients (mostly organic or Demeter-certified) sourced in the Alpine and pre-Alpine regions. From Mon-Thu, diners can opt for a three- to five-course version of the set menu; Fri-Sat, there is just the one five-course variant – or if you arrive at 6pm, you can go for the three-course early evening set menu. The pleasingly laid-back atmosphere is in no small part down to the friendly, attentive and unpret

The name translates as "magic mountain", and the name is fitting for a number of reasons. For one, dedicated host Claudia Kimbacher, who adds a pleasantly personal touch to the service with her remarkably warm manner and is also happy to assist you in choosing your wines. Then there is Sven Gerlach's cuisine, which comes in the form of a surprise menu comprising five to six modern and creative courses. If you would like a vegetarian option, please indicate this when making your reservation. From January to November, a three-course "Work Day Supper" set menu is also available Tue-Thu by advance
