Here at this inn dating back to 1288, the food is terrific – the skilful chef clearly pours a lot of love into his cooking. As well as regional dishes and classics, Asian and Mediterranean influences make their way onto the menu. A meal in their Gaststube is a somewhat simpler affair. The historical Rührberger Hof estate, which is home to this long-established family business, has been around since 1902. The fact that it was once used for farming is no longer apparent today. The pleasingly modern interior is an attractive setting in which to savour the excellent cuisine of brothers Christoph und Felix Düster.
