An atmosphere elegant and contemporary; the service cradles guests like family, whilst Felice Sgarra at the stove astonishes with dishes sometimes drawn from Apulian traditions, as well as those from other regions, all closely interpreted and elaborated personally. An extraordinary representation of rural Apulia, here you will find one of the region's gastronomic excellences. The array of mainly vegetable starters, the fresh pastas combined with extraordinary ragùs, the fabulous meats (especially the capocollo and sausage) and the desserts (especially the “quasi cassata”) live up to the name the restaurant has built up since opening in 1993. Often sold out, we recommend making a reservation, even well in advance.

Overlooking a square in the city centre, customers are welcomed into elegant surroundings, where almost exclusively fish dishes are served, in classic and tasty preparations, without too many complications to enhance the catch.

Nestled within the historic centre, you’ll find classic and charming Apulian stone environments of a fourteenth-century building, while the kitchen sends forth predominantly fish dishes, along with some meat offerings, in classic Italian tradition recipes with a few modern twists.

The owners' smiling welcome immediately puts customers at their ease, in a very pleasant contemporary tavern setting with light colours and vaulted ceilings. The Inspector recommends: codfish mantecato with walnut bread, bell pepper cream and caper mayonnaise; risotto with broad beans, hairy mussels and pecorino cheese from Foggia.

In the village centre and therefore not right by the sea, this successful, well - established restaurant is decorated in elegant contemporary style. The menu focuses on fish dishes reinterpreted with a touch of imagination.
