This chic and modern restaurant has found the perfect home within the pretty half-timbered building of the long-established Birkenfelder Hof. It is an ideal setting for "casual dining". The atmosphere is also suitably relaxed, the waitstaff are experienced and friendly, and the delicious seasonal modern cuisine, which draws on French, Mediterranean and regional influences, incorporates the occasional Asian touch. The menu features dishes from Alsace and Baden, with mouthwatering options such as "coq au vin à la chef", beef sirloin served with roasted onions and spaetzle, or Baden-style pike dumplings.
