This aptly named restaurant in the Color Hotel just a short distance from Lake Garda boasts a modern, colourful decor and cuisine worthy of its name. Dishes are inspired by Mediterranean traditions and are showcased on a number of different tasting menus.

Situated just a stone’s throw from the lakefront, this elegant gourmet restaurant in the Regina Adelaide hotel boasts an attractive English-style garden, as well as a beautiful outdoor patio and stylish dining room. The two tasting menus served here (one of which is vegetarian) showcase the traditions of Lake Garda and its surrounding region with a creative twist using vegetables from the property’s own kitchen garden and a focus on seasonal ingredients. There’s also an extensive wine list.

This well-kept, welcoming restaurant with a colourful decor and wine bottles adorning the walls serves imaginative dishes with modern combinations – our inspector particularly enjoyed the guinea fowl supreme with smoked black tea, carrots and beluga lentils. The well-chosen wine list features labels from Italy and further afield.

On the first hills behind Garda, the view from the terrace surrounded by greenery is an enchantment, embracing the southern part of the lake, while the interior rooms have been carved out of an old mill with stone walls, now comfortable, "light" and cosy spaces. Here chef Perbellini has set up a cuisine that starting from the territory, from freshwater fish in particular, opens up to proposals of sea and land with Mediterranean and contemporary taste, the steamed seafood salad topped with a wasabi mayonnaise is really delicate and fragrant. Do not miss one of the signature dishes of the famous
