LEV by Mike

Modern Cuisine · Bib

€€

LEV now occupies the first floor of a historical bathhouse, from where diners can enjoy panoramic views of a natural pond and the cosy charm of a modern brasserie. Mike Vrijdag's culinary concept is a hit: the menu features an extensive selection of small plates ranging from comfort food to cutting-edge creations. This chef's technical skills and playful spirit ensure a dining experience that is always engaging. Take, for instance, his freshly caught sea bass tartare combined with tangy pickled cucumber, soy gel, and a wasabi sorbet providing subtly sweet and spicy kick. A symphony of flavours

Am Kring - Büschker's Stuben

Traditional Cuisine · Bib

€€

Set in a small village near Vreden, this well-kept establishment right next to the church has maintained its distinctive regional character. The menu takes its cue from the seasons and features dishes such as beef fillet with fregola sarda, carrots and rosemary jus, or salmon with Riesling-braised cabbage and boiled potatoes, as well as classics such as Münsterländer Zwiebelfleisch (slow-cooked beef with onions). Service is friendly and professional. For overnight stays, the Hotel Am Kring provides neatly appointed guestrooms. Breakfast is served at your table rather than as a buffet.
