Tucked away on the outskirts of the city centre, the exceptional quality of this restaurant’s food makes the journey well worth the trip. Drawing inspiration from pedigree Serbian cuisine, it proudly showcases local and regional ingredients; most of the ewe’s milk cheese, for example, comes direct from the restaurant’s own farm in the Homolje Mountains. The restaurant has moved to Svetog Save 14.A welcoming bistro with an extensive menu revealing a lineup of patriotic recipes that have been subtly overhauled but not to the detriment of their intrinsic character or flavour, largely thanks to the use of local ingredients. We particularly recommend the oxtail with caramelised onions, house-made gnocchi with veal brain and a reduction of bones.

We particularly enjoyed the pho soup, one of the establishment’s signature dishes, that can be customised with different ingredients according to personal taste.
